Portland, Maine is now widely recognized as a food loving town offering exceptional variety, tastes and flavors for everyone. In fact, the Chicago Tribune coined Portland the "San Francisco of the East" (June, 2012) and Bon Appetite named us the "Foodiest small town in America" (2009).
Join us for one of our weekend tours this Winter and learn what makes this town so special, from the craft brewing scene to the culinary artisans of all types and terrific restaurants. There is something to be enjoyed by everyone. Our walking tour carves a path through the streets of the charming Old Port. A hundred years ago this area was home to fish houses, canneries, industrial factories and textile mills. Now the air is fragrant with the fresh ocean breeze and scents of coffee houses, bakeries, breweries, and award-winning restaurants. Our culinary walking tours visit a sampling of all sorts of culinary artisansn and they change regularly to embrace the exciting additions to the town while staying loyal to some of our favorites.
Maybe you have heard about Maine's local brewing scene and our creative mixologists? Learn more on our Happy 2 Hour Tour. These afternoon jaunts put the spirits in you and serve food along the way at 4 locations, perfect for a happy hour.
Our other tours and excursions are now on hold until the late Spring/early Summer, so please check back with us to see the schedule as we finalize those tours over the Winter. We hope you enjoy your stay in beautiful and yummy Portland!
